Students keep the flame of art & culture alive at VBU


Hazaribagh/Jharkhand 



Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag, witnessed another vibrant celebration of art and culture on 5th July 2025. Students body, Kalakriti and Tamasha Societies  under VBUNATION organized a meaningful event at the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium. Kalakriti Society hosted an energetic Duo Dance Competition, where students paired up to showcase their talent. Soumya and Deepshikha won the Best Duo Team award for their outstanding performance. Meanwhile, Tamasha Society staged the impactful play ‘Kahani Ek Kisan Ki’,written by Gulshan Kumar, portraying the struggles of Indian farmers. Gulshan Kumar’s moving act earned him the Best Actor award.

The occasion also featured songs, poems, and shayaris presented by talented students, creating a lively and soulful atmosphere. Dr. S.Z. Haque, Head of the Urdu Department and Chairman of Art and Culture at VBU, graced the occasion as the chief guest. He praised the dedication and growth of the societies, appreciating how far they have come since their humble beginnings.

The success of the event was made possible by the  core team members namely Avinay Raj, Nirjala Singh, Himanshu, Shaurya Shree, Irfan, Rishav, Shagufta, Kajal, Spardha, Deepika, Gulshan Kumar, Rohit Singh, Naveen and Aman. The event concluded with smiles, applause, and a renewed spirit to keep the flame of art and culture alive at VBU.
